ceramic portfolio
Stephanie studied ceramics at Alfred University while completing her BFA in 2009. Since Alfred she has practiced ceramics in various community studios in Denver and San Francisco, and as of July 2019 began practicing in her own, personal studio. Her wares are handcrafted on the potter's wheel with porcelain and black stoneware. Her work encompasses simple, elegant vessels focused on form and function, as well as artistic pieces created with various printmaking and carving techniques to create intricate, layered surfaces. Stephanie has sold work in retail stores, galleries, craft fairs and her own online store. She currently lives and works in Livingston, Montana.
Bubble Drink ware
Made on the wheel with cone 10 porcelain. Layered surfaces include underglaze and/or slip, complete with hand carved designs of pinstripes and circles. Interiors are finished with a glossy, white glaze.
Dish Sets Portfolio
Made on the wheel with either cone 10 black stoneware or porcelain. Glazes include satin black, glossy white and glossy clear. The collection has raw exteriors to highlight the texture and color of the clay. Vessels include dinner plates, pasta bowls, cereal bowls, soup bowls and mugs, mugs, serving bowls, and teapots.

Florist Vase Commission
Commissioned by a local florist to created 18 unique vessels for floral arrangements, delivered to her monthly subscribers. Each subscriber received a unique arrangement, and vases were available for purchase. Made with cone 10 black stoneware, with either satin black or glossy white glaze on the interior. Exteriors were left raw, with the exception of one piece complete with various layers of slip.
Paisley Portfolio
Hand carved paisley inspired designs inlaid with glaze or underglaze. Some exteriors left raw, while others are covered in a clear glaze. Interiors finished with clear or white, glossy glaze. Made with cone 10 porcelain.
Abstract Vase Collection
Made with cone 10 porcelain on the wheel. Brush strokes of slip, glaze and underglaze create the layered exterior. Interiors finished with clear or white, glossy glaze.
